Tinka Resources Limited

Tinka Resources Limited is a junior exploration company based in Vancouver, Canada, that is developing its 100%-owned Colquipucro and Ayawilca projects in Peru. The projects are located 40 km northwest of Cerro de Pasco in the richly mineralized silver-lead-zinc belt of Central Peru, with 46 contiguous mineral tenements within an area of 9,827 hectares are located 40 km northwest of Cerro de Pasco in the richly mineralized silver–lead-zinc belt of Central Peru, Diamond drill programs are currently underway at both projects. An NI 43-101 report has estimated an Inferred Resource of 32.7 million ounces of silver at Colquipucro, while ongoing work at Ayawilca has outlined zinc-rich massive sulphide targets. With a highly experienced management team and a strong focus on community relations, the company is committed to enhancing shareholder value by advancing the development of these assets through focused and effective exploration activities.

Colquipucro Project

Mineralization is oxidized and fracture-controlled, hosted by thinly bedded sandstones.

Silver recovery ranged from 90% to 97% after leaching for 72 hours (2009).

Silver leaching kinetics were extremely fast for both composites.

Mineralogical study identified silver sulphides and sulphosalts.

Bottle roll and column leach tests done in 2012 show recoveries up to 84% and 71%, respectively, using weaker cyanide solution than used in 2009.

Ayawilca Project

The structural setting and mineralization at Ayawilca is sulphide based and currently spans an area of at least 1,200 metres by 600 metres.

Massive and semi-massive sulphide mineralization occurs in breccias, greywacke and siltstones , believed to be the Oyon formation, below the Gollyar group sandstones that host the silver mineralization at Colquipucro.

Ayawilca may have a stratigraphic relationship to breccias and conglomerates found at the Huaron Mine southwest of Cerro de Pasco.

Two IP geophysical surveys have identified a blind target east of the surface showings previously drilled, trending east-west. The anomalies remain open to the east and will be tested with a third IP survey early in 2013.

A diamond drill program is currently underway to test these IP anomalies.

Best results to date are: 70 metres of 4.8% zinc (including 19 metres of 9.0% zinc), 8 metres of 15.94% zinc and 33 g/t silver, 30 metres of 3. 49% zinc, 10 metres of 7% zinc, 20 metres of 7.1% zinc (including 14 metres of 9.6% zinc) and 18 metres of 6.6% zinc.
