49 North Resources Inc. is a Saskatchewan focused company with strategic operations in financial, managerial advisory and merchant banking. The company was founded and is managed by a second generation Saskatchewan resource developer with over 25 years of experience in project generation/advancement, corporate finance, and investment. Its symbol is TSX-V: FNR. 49 North is the premier opportunity for those outside the province of Saskatchewan, and within, to work with and invest alongside the local resource establishment at the earliest possible stage. Currently 49 North is comprised of a portfolio of investments that are predominantly Saskatchewan focused private and public resource issuers at various stages of development. Individual projects range from grass roots exploration to near feasibility in the minerals sector and early stage production of hydrocarbons. There are no fixed restrictions or requirements as to the particular sectors of the resource industry in which the company invests.  Tom MacNeill President & CEO | Tom MacNeill is the CEO and President of 49 North which is a dedicated resource investment company that trades on the TSX-Venture under the symbol FNR. Tom is also the general manager of BEC International Corporation, a private resource development company. Tom, a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan in Economics, is also a Certified General Accountant, and Chartered Financial Analyst. Mr. MacNeill's focus has been exclusively toward junior mining exploration and development opportunities with specific emphasis on Saskatchewan’s resource sector. Tom and his brother Ken MacNeill co-founded Shore Gold together which is the largest diamond exploration company in the world. Tom's family is also the founder of gold exploration company Claude Resources. Tom has 20+ years of experience managing, structuring and exiting successful investments in the resource industry. Tom is a third generation mine developer in the province with his father Bill MacNeill and grandfather being some of the early pioneering mine and resource developers in the province which provides Tom over 50 plus years of deep well respected connections world wide to source and structure deals. |
