Victory Nickel Inc. (TSX: NI) is focused on becoming a mid-tier nickel producer by developing its existing properties, Minago and Mel in Manitoba, and Lac Rocher in northwestern Québec, and by evaluating opportunities to expand its nickel asset base. In October, 2008 the Company acquired 77% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Independent Nickel Corp. (TSX: INI), which holds a 100% interest in the past producing Lynn Lake Nickel Mine in northern Manitoba. Minago Project Located 225 km south of Thompson, Manitoba in the Thompson Nickel Belt. One of Canada's largest undeveloped nickel deposits with measured and indicated resources of 49 million tonnes (10.3Mt measured, 38.8Mt indicated) grading 0.516% nickel, plus an additional inferred resource of 44 million tonnes grading 0.528% nickel. Mel Project Located approximately 25 km north of Thompson, Manitoba. Joint venture with Vale Inco Limited offering near-term production potential and exploration upside with 4.3 million tonnes of measured and indicated resources grading 0.875% nickel for 83 million pounds of near-surface in-situ nickel. Lac Rocher Project Located 160 km east-northeast of the town of Matagami in northwestern Québec. High grade discovery with a 3.2 metre massive sulphide intersection returning a weighted average of 10.8% nickel as part of a 61.5 metre interval grading 1.69% nickel. Measured and indicated resource totals 1.2 million tonnes grading 0.93% nickel for an in-situ total of 25 million pounds of nickel. Lynn Lake Nickel Mine (77% interest through Independent Nickel Corp.) Located adjacent to the Town of Lynn Lake in Manitoba 320 km from Thompson. Measured and indicated mineral resource of 16.1 million tons grading 0.7% nickel and 0.4% copper. René R.
