VMS Ventures Inc. is focused primarily on acquiring, exploring and developing copper-zinc properties in the Flin Flon — Snow Lake VMS Belt. The Company also holds the largest land package considered prospective for nickel-copper mineralization at Lynn Lake, which is to date Canada’s third largest nickel producing camp. The Company’s project portfolio consists of the Snow Lake VMS project, the Lynn Lake Gabbros nickel-copper project, the Nickel Belt project, the South Bay nickel-copper-cobalt PGE property, and the Eden Lake Carbonatite Complex, Specialty Metals property. All VMS Ventures Inc. properties are located in the mining friendly province of Manitoba, Canada. Properties VMS Ventures Inc. holds a portfolio of Copper Zinc and Nickel properties in Manitoba’s prolific Flin Flon — Snow Lake VMS belt. The Reed Project The Reed Project contains MEL #268A, the Dunlop optioned claim blocks, and the HudBay Minerals optioned property. On October 4th, 2007 the Company announced its Discovery Hole (RD-07-02) containing 43.05 metres of 4.38% copper. The Cover Project During fiscal 2006 the Company announced that it had staked claims in its “Cover Project”. The Cover Project refers to claims located within the southern portion of the Flin Flon – Snow Lake VMS Belt. The older Precambrian rocks, which host the copper-zinc deposits of the belt, lie beneath a layer of younger sedimentary or limestone rocks. The Copper Project Drilling on the Copperman property in 1967 by Western Nuclear mines Ltd. indicated that the “A” zone contains 149,672 tonnes with 3.08% Cu and 3.08% Zn. Combined reserves of 221,308 tonnes with 2.63% Cu and 4.46% Zn were reported in Manitoba Mineral Deposit Series Report 21 (not N.I. 43-101 compliant). The Puella Bay Project Previous exploration and government reports indicate that the Puella occurrence contains widespread pyrite mineralization and near solid laminae of pyrite, sphalerite and galena as well as minor chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite. The Sails Lake Project Situated approximately 20 km east of the Town of Snow Lake. Eleven base metal mines have been developed on VMS deposits in the immediate area of Snow Lake. A mill in the town, designed to process VMS type ores is currently underutilized. The Lynn Lake Gabbros Project This claim package covers five of the seven Lynn Lake gabbroic intrusions and surrounds the Lynn Lake, Manitoba Nickel Mine, the 3rd largest nickel camp in Canadian history. The South Bay Project These claims are near the mining community of Leaf Rapids, Manitoba, and cover approximately 30 square kilometers and are anchored by a 3% nickel surface discovery made in 2004. North Thompson The North Thompson properties cover the northeast extension of the Thompson Nickel Belt and include rocks that are identified by government geologists as the same as those that contain major nickel deposits at Thompson. These rocks are contiguous with those that host the MEL Nickel Copper deposit. South Thompson The South Thompson Exploration Permits cover the southwards extension of the Thompson Nickel Belt. Exploration work by Falconbridge geologists in the late 1980s and early 1990s identified both the Thompson and Pipe rock formations on the property. These rock formations host Nickel-Copper deposits at Thompson and Nickel occurrences at Williams Lake. Leak Lake The Leak Lake permits cover areas that are underlain by mafic and ultramafic rocks similar to those containing Nickel and PGE being explored by Wildcat Exploration Ltd. These rocks are covered by a thin veneer of limestone similar to the Company’s 9-7 and Reed Projects.
