Company Notes:In January 2007 the Class A preferred shares Series 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 of publicly-traded subsidiary Bell Canada, which were listed for trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange, were converted into the first preferred shares Series AE, AF, AG, AH and AI respectively of BCE Inc. Bell Canada ceased to be a publicly-traded company at that time. In July 2013 BCE Inc. completed the acquisition of Astral Media Inc., which at the time was publicly-traded. In November 2013 BCE Inc. acquired the common shares of telecommunications services provider Bell Aliant Inc. which it did not already own. As part of this acquisition, the preferred shares of Bell Aliant Preferred Equity Inc. were exchanged for preferred shares of BCE Inc. on a one-for-one basis. Specifically, the Series A, C and E preferred shares of Bell Aliant Preferred Equity Inc. were exchanged for the Series AM, AO and AQ preferred shares respectively of BCE Inc.
